This fire is burning, it’s raging, it’s glowing.
Nobody knows how a flame becomes a fire,
How fire grows into a blaze.
It’s rising like an almighty king and
you cannot subdue a raging fire.
All that you’ve created turns to ashes.
You can try to overpower the fire
but be careful – you might get burned.
Our ancestor’s flame we’ll keep and pass on to next generations,
So their nights be strong and their days be filled with light.
As long as we keep the flame in our hearts,
no star is too far,
no dream is too big,
and joyfully we live.
